In-home Mental Health & Addiction Rehabilitation

Our Philosophy.

At ISISrecovery, we believe that a client has recovered only when he or she is leading a functional, meaningful life with mental clarity and sobriety. Our experience has shown that without functional outcomes, a client is extremely vulnerable to relapse. Functional outcomes may mean working or going to school, having healthy interpersonal relations, and leading a life with personal satisfaction. This philosophy of recovery extends beyond a symptom reduction and sobriety model as it emphasizes treating the whole person.

ISISrecovery believes in assessing clients for primary disorders (relating to mental health and chemical dependency) and secondary disorders (relating to deficits in the psychological, inter-personal, self-management, executive function, and other life skills arenas). Only by addressing primary and secondary disorders are we able to develop a treatment plan with a series of interventions, targeting multiple symptom areas. ISISrecovery believes in using any treatment strategy that works although we consider evidenced-based strategies first. This encompasses a wide range of treatment strategies from psychopharmacology to dialectical behavior therapy to 12-step programs to acupuncture to yoga.
