ISISrecovery specializes in dual-diagnoses (otherwise known as co-occuring disorders) and in polysubstance abuse. We believe that most complex addiction clients with multiple treatment failures suffer from underlying psychiatric conditions. These psychiatric conditions are often masked by the substance abuse to the extent that they become difficult to recognize. Our professional staff carefully screens for dual-diagnosis in addiction patients by taking an extensive personal and family history and consults with our psychiatrist. Our rehabilitation specialists are all trained in dual diagnosis so that they can report to the treatment team behaviors that may indicate an underlying psychiatric diagnosis.

ISISrecovery can also arrange for detox and make referrals for appropriate psychopharmacology to reduce cravings and to taper off of an illicit substance. Additionally, our rehabilitation specialists can recognize and prevent the situations that may lead to cravings and can help clients employ strategies to fight them.
