In-home Mental Health & Addiction Rehabilitation

Our Services: Rehabilitation Specialists

At ISISrecovery, our rehabilitation specialists engage in an outcome-oriented psychosocial or psychiatric rehabilitation model. Some companies would refer to our rehabilitation specialists as mental health coaches or sober coaches, but they are much more than that. Our rehabilitation specialists are licensed or certified professionals. They work with their clients throughout the day, taking them to their doctors, therapists, and groups, sharing breaks and lunch with a clients at-work, accompanying clients to classes, and even sharing family dinners. They provide psychosocial rehabilitation and assist our clients in communicating with friends, family, and co-workers without anxiety, frustration, and anger. They can help clients learn how to relax and unwind, without alcohol or illicit substances, and how to cooperate with others. As experienced and trained professionals, our rehab specialists also provide an appropriate role-model for these behaviors.

Additionally, our rehab specialists will report the client’s behavior in multiple real life situations to the treatment team. This information is invaluable in terms of monitoring ongoing treatment and refining diagnosis. For instance, a real life setting allows a rehab specialist to see symptoms and complex skill deficiencies that are often missed by professionals. Appropriate diagnosis then allows for appropriate changes in the treatment plan, giving the client his best chance at recovery.

ISISrecovery will taper off the services of the rehabilitation specialists as the client’s function improves. We believe in a gradual process and a slow transitioning so that a client has the best chance at recovery. Although a typical case would entail working with a client 24/7 at the beginning of treatment, the rehabilitation specialist would be required for fewer days/hours as treatment progresses and the client improves.

Our rehabilitation specialists are either licensed (e.g., LPT, MFT, LCSW, RN, LVN) or certified (e.g., CAADAC) with specialized in-class training and required training hours. A licensed clinical social worker and a psychiatrist supervise the rehabilitation specialists and are available 24/7 for consultation. Many of our rehabilitation specialists have their own personal experience with mental health disorders or addiction and are living in recovery themselves. If this is the case, the rehabilitation specialist has been in recovery for at least seven years. The rehabilitation specialists are employees of the company, CPR or BLS certified, carry worker’s compensation, and have had an extensive background and criminal check along with checks of their references. They are also subjected to random drug tests.

We should emphasize that our rehabilitation specialists are not personal assistants or therapists, even though their license or certification may have specialized in counseling.
